The Ambassadors of Pakistan to in the Kyrgyz Republic visited the AIU

On December 7, 2022, representatives of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the Kyrgyz Republic visited the Ala-Too International University. The delegation was headed by advisor Marwan Alex Ayash.

During the tour, they visited faculties, blocks and classrooms, attaching paramount importance to the well-being of students and building relationships with the university administration.

The representatives also met with the Student Council of the Faculty of Medicine of AIU and emphasized the following points:

  • Implementation of Google forms to accumulate and compile data on the past of all Pakistani students in the form of a confidential database, which must be submitted by every Pakistani student of the AIU;
  • Building a public diplomacy campaign through cultural and sporting events.

It should be noted that during the visit, the delegation stressed the need to work together with the administration to ensure the welfare of Pakistani students throughout the Kyrgyz Republic. In addition, the Student Council of the Faculty of Medicine of AIU will also appoint 3 goodwill ambassadors, where representatives will act as a coordinating body. They will be tasked with liaising with the Embassy on various aspects and their respective university.

The visit ended with an official and honorable reception of guests and a visit to the Medical faculty of the AIU, where a meeting was held on a variety of issues related to the optimization of living conditions, security issues for students in the country of study. Representatives of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome and were impressed by the working and educational atmosphere of the AIU.

The Student Council of the Medicine Faculty of AIU highly appreciates and thanks the Embassy for such actions in relation to foreign students. Together we can ensure the social well-being and pleasant stay of our students in Kyrgyzstan!
