World Cancer Day

February 8, 2023

“Never let cancer take over you. You are one in a billion and make the best use of your life with your willpower.”

World Cancer Day is an international day celebrated on February 4th to raise awareness about cancer and promote its prevention, detection and treatment. Celebrated annually by the United Nations.

The main goal of World Cancer Day is to reduce the number of diseases and deaths. This is an opportunity to unite the international community to put an end to the injustice associated with preventable cancer suffering. To reduce the risk of cancer, the following is recommended: abstain from tobacco and alcohol, exercise regularly, eat more fruits and vegetables, maintain a healthy weight.

“Having cancer doesn't mean it is the ending, have the authority and fight your way out with a big bright smile and warrior's heart.”

Let's beat cancer!
