On March 22, 2023, a seminar on “Awareness about tuberculosis” was held at the AIU, organized by the Student Council of the Faculty of Medicine.

The seminar was attended by Dr. Elena Zhdanova as an invited speaker, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of AIU Kudaibergen Osmonaliev, lecturers Azamat Abduraimov, Navid Hussein Khan, Dosbai Saparov and Muhammad Zahid Sarvar.

The program began with a welcome speech by the guest Elena Zhdanova, told about her career path and gave a brief overview of tuberculosis. During the seminar, she encouraged students to work hard and prepare well before applying for higher education abroad for research positions.

Dr. Navaid Hussein Khan, Azamat Abduraimov, Dosbay Saparov and Mohammed Zahid Sarvar shared their opinions on tuberculosis. Then they moved on to an interactive session where students answered questions and received gifts. The students expressed their gratitude to all the lecturers and volunteers for organizing an informative meeting.
